Our medical facility is an approved site to perform immigration medicals for USA since 2007.

Please DO NOT have any vaccinations completed before coming to your medical appointment. 

Vaccinations are dependent on age, medical history, current medical health and dosages of previously given vaccines.

Medical costs varies depending on age of applicant:

  • Adult 18 years – 24 years $1800.00 TT/ $270.00 US 
  • Adult 25 years – 44 years $1200.00 TT/ $180.00 US 
  • Adult 45 years and over $1000.00 TT/ $150.00 US 
  • Children 0 years – 17 years $1000.00 TT / $150.00 US

WHO CAN DO YOUR EXAM

Only registered panel physicians that have been approved by US Immigration/CDC can perform medical examinations.

WHEN TO GET YOUR MEDICAL EXAM

Once you have received your letter from the US Embassy with a date and time of your appointment, you can schedule your medical examination to be completed.

WHAT DOES THE MEDICAL ENTAIL

  • Medical history
  • Physical examination
  • Chest X-ray
  • Urine test for Gonorrhoea (Age dependent)
  • Blood test  for Syphillis (Age dependent)
  • Immunizations/ Vaccinations

WHAT TO BRING

  • Valid passport
  • DS-260 conformation page showing 2 barcodes (PTS & CEAC number)
  • 1 recent passport size picture with white background
  • 1 recent digital picture with white background (Please email)
  • ID card/Driver’s permit/birth certificate (for children)
  • All immunization records available including COVID19 Vaccination
  • Glasses (if you have them)
  • Any medical records relating to any previous or existing medical problems
  • A list of all medication currently in use (including vitamins and herbal medication)

An information sheet will be emailed for each person requiring a medical examination.

This information will be used to populate or find your case in the US immigration program.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO PAY FOR

The fee is for the full medical exam and and all the tests listed below.

  • Medical history 
  • Examination
  • Chest X-ray
  • Urine test
  • Syphilis blood test

Vaccinations are an additional cost

 

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU ARRIVE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

As per COVID protocols:

  • you will be asked about any flu like symptoms at the door of the facility
  • on entering, you will be asked to sanitize your hands
  • your temperature will be recorded
  • you are asked to sign in with your name, contact number and time of arrival

 

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

  • Receptionist staff will ask for your documents that you were asked to bring
  • You identity will be checked with your passport
  • A nursing assistant will check your Height and Weight with your shoes off

INVESTIGATIONS

  • Your identity will be checked by laboratory staff
  • You will be asked to pass a urine sample in a sterile cup and your blood will be drawn (If applicable)
  • You will be sent to the radiographer who will check your identity and perform a chest X-ray (if required) using proper protective lead shields

CHAPERONE

You have the right to have a chaperone in the room during your examination.

You will be offered to have a clinic or staff member or family member present at any time during your examination.

Minor children are required to have a parent or legal guardian present for the medical examination.

ONCE THE EXAMINATION IS COMPLETE

The physician will complete and send your results directly to US immigration 

You will be given a copy of you immunization record, chest x-ray, blood and urine investigations

Document Review:

You are required to visit the embassy between 1 and 2 on Tuesdays or Thursdays (same day as your medical appointment preferably) for a mandatory document review
