Renand Medical Clinic operates a full service medical laboratory. Our test scope has increased over the years and most of our testing is fully automated. Our highly trained and competent staff eagerly awaits the opportunity to assist you with your diagnostic needs. We have partnered with laboratories internationally to offer testing not readily available in Trinidad.

We at Renand Limited are pleased to announce that we have received international accreditation with ISO 15189 standard by A2LA (American Association for Laboratory Accreditation). This is a milestone achievement for us and we are very proud to be recognized in the international forum as being consistent with national and international standards.

A2LA is one of the largest accreditation bodies in the world that offers a full range of comprehensive conformity assessment accreditation services. Accreditation refers to the recognition given to an organization by an authoritative body (i.e A2LA). It is the process by which this authoritative body gives formal recognition to a laboratory (i.e. Renand Limited) who has fulfilled specified requirements and is competent to carry out specific tasks in a clinical laboratory. This includes but not limited to quality assurance processes, suitability of testing methods, safe handling and transport of samples and staff capability and skills. A2LA has accredited Renand limited as proof that we had met or exceeded the standards on safety and quality control.

We have been accredited for clinical chemistry, hematology and immunology testing, urine drug screen and microscopy. While not every test done in the laboratory is included in our A2LA scope of accreditation, it is our mission to broaden our scope in the near future.
