Our medical facility is an approved site to perform Immigration Upfront medicals & Permanent Resident medicals for Canada since 2020.

Medical costs varies depending on age of applicant:

Adult 15 and older $1400.00 TT

Children 11-14 $900.00 TT

Children 10 AND UNDER $700.00 TT

WHO CAN DO YOUR EXAM

Only registered panel physicians that have been approved by immigration Canada can perform medical examinations.

WHEN TO GET YOUR MEDICAL EXAM

Once you have received instructions from Immigration Canada that you can complete your medical examination, you have 30 days to do so.

WHAT DOES THE MEDICAL ENTAIL

  • Medical history
  • Physical examination
  • Chest X-ray
  • Urine test
  • Blood test– kidney function, HIV, Syphillis
  • Any other additional tests requested by Immigration Canada.
  • Vaccinations are now a voluntary part of the immigration medical. Please bring and +/or all vaccinations records to your appointment.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Valid passport
  • Letter confirming your application
  • 1 recent passport size picture with white background
  • 1 recent digital picture with white background
  • ID card/Driver’s permit/birth certificate (for children)
  • The Medical report form (IMM1017) form which was sent by immigration Canada
  • COVID 19 Vaccination Record
  • Glasses (if you have them)
  • Any medical records relating to any previous or existing medical problems
  • A list of all medication currently in use (including vitamins and herbal medication)

An information sheet will be emailed for each person requiring a medical examination.

Please complete all fields and email to us at reception@renandltd.com along with a copy of the biodata page of your passport.

This information will be used to populate or find your case in the immigration Canada program.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO PAY FOR

The fee is for the full medical exam and and all tests listed above. Any additional tests requested by IRCC will be borne by the applicant.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU ARRIVE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

As per COVID protocols:

  • you will be asked about any flu like symptoms at the door of the facility
  • on entering, you will be asked to sanitize your hands
  • your temperature will be recorded
  • you are asked to sign in with your name, contact number and time of arrival

When you arrive:

  • Receptionist staff will ask for your documents that you were asked to bring
  • You identity will be checked with your passport
  • A nursing assistant will check your Height and Weight with your shoes off

Investigations:

  • Your identity will be checked by laboratory staff
  • You will be asked to pass a urine sample in a sterile cup and your blood will be drawn
  • You will be sent to the radiographer who will check your identity and perform a chest X-ray (if required) using proper protective lead shields

CHAPERONE

You have the right to have a chaperone in the room during your examination.

You will be offered to have a clinic or staff member or family member present at any time during your examination.

Minor children are required to have a parent or legal guardian present for the medical examination.

ONCE THE EXAMINATION IS COMPLETE

The physician will complete and submit your medical directly to IRCC.

A copy of all Lab results, IMM1017 form, and/or information sheet (for upfront medicals) will be emailed to you.
